 I) The BIJ (Bureau Information Jeunesse - Young People’s Information Bureau)

This is a place where young people can meet, find someone to listen to their problems and obtain help with everyday activities.

- Help with job hunting

 II) The CRIJ (Centre Régional Information Jeunesse - Regional Youth Information Centre)

An information centre which deals with all issues affecting young people, students, families and those working with young people.

-  One-to-one, anonymous and free interviews,
- Provision of thematically organised documentation,
- Job offers
- Accommodation offers from private individuals,
- Legal advice service

The “Maison de l’Etudiant” a support facility for students, which:
- Directs students to the people and services most appropriate to their needs
- Supports and develops student projects and student associations (support, resources, exhibition and work space)
- Organises and supports events related to student life, employability, careers guidance or student mobility.

 III) CROUS (Centre Régional des Oeuvres Universitaires et Scolaires - Regional student social services centre)

Centre providing students with resources and help with their everyday activities.

 IV) Le BVE (Bureau de la Vie Étudiante - Student Services Office)

A contact point and centre for promoting and encouraging the development of student activities. Acting as an interface between the student and the university, the BVE provides answers to a wide range of questions :

-  Volunteering opportunities
- Funding for projects
-  Campus life
- Institutional life and student representation
- Help with everyday activities

Information on administrative, institutional and external services which could be helpful for students :

-  Help in finding accommodation
-  Student jobs
-  Leisure activities

Volunteering opportunities and the BVE

The BVE is the preferred intermediary of the university volunteering system.
-  For finding useful information relating to setting up an association,
-  For finding out the procedures for having it recognised by the university
-  For helping you to publicise activities.
-  Managing accommodation requests from student associations
- Making available venues and the logistical support required for activities.

Project funding
Help in carrying out group and individual projects and in funding projects through the Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Étudiantes (Solidarity and Development of Student Initiatives Fund).

Campus life
- Organisation of events related to student life, in collaboration with external partners (themed awareness-raising days, cultural and solidarity activities,...) throughout the academic year.
-  Management of all entertainment requests in conjunction with student services.

Institutional life and student representation

The BVE works in collaboration with the Vice-President (VPE) of the Student Unions and its elected members. The VPE and elected Student Union members represent you on the university’s various councils. They take part in the decision-making which affects the university’s main policies and the way it operates. Their remit is to raise the problems experienced by students and to report back to them on the decisions taken during meetings.
